Mission Statement

The objective of the Airman Leadership School is to prepare Senior Airman to be professional, war fighting Airmen who can supervise and lead Air Force Work teams to support the employment of air, space, and cyberspace power

Be a Leader

The USAF Airman Leadership School (ALS) helps to prepare senior airmen for supervisory duties and leadership roles in supporting the employment of air, space and cyberspace power. This 5 week, 24 academic day, course is divided into three major curriculum areas that support the course objective: communications, leadership and professions of arms. Graduation from ALS is required for promotion to staff sergeant. 

The Airman Leadership School is accredited by the Community College of the Air Force. Upon graduation, students earn 9 college credit hours.
