Keep in shape with our complete and fully equipped fitness and sports center. With high quality equipment and specialized trainers, we aim to give the best recreational service program gearing towards fitness and sports.

    Whether you’re a seasoned lifter or just starting out, this is your chance to set goals, break records, and build camaraderie!

    Event Highlights:

    • Test your limits with 3 attempts each at deadlift, squat, and bench-press
    • Aim for a total of 500, 750, or 1000 pounds
    • Cheer on fellow lifters and feel the energy!

    Gather your unit and get ready to compete!

    Our facility offers a full sporting program starting with intramural and extramural level programs. Intramural sports are a great way to build team morale and enjoy friendly competition. Many intramural sports are offered throughout the year including softball, basketball, volleyball, flag football, and more!

    If you are interested in competing in intramural sports, make sure to complete and turn in your LOI prior to the due dates listed above!

    19FSS Fitness Center Class Schedule

    Find Your Strength: Free Fitness Classes for Every Goal!

    Stay active and reach your fitness goals with our diverse lineup of fitness classes offered throughout the week! Whether you’re looking for a high-intensity workout or a low-impact stretch, we have something for everyone. Choose from four unique classes: Spin, Yoga, Functional Fitness, and Power Hour. With multiple class times available, we make it easy to fit fitness into your schedule.

    All 15 weekly functional fitness classes are completely free for all who wish to attend, and all fitness levels are welcome. Our highly trained instructors are dedicated to providing quality, hands-on coaching to help you succeed. Join us and take your fitness to the next level!

    The Fitness Improvement Program (FIP) is designed to enhance athletic performance, improve fitness assessment success rates, and help Airmen overcome fitness challenges. Functional Fitness is an FIP-approved class open to all of LRAFB.

    Rules and Regulations

    Help us maintain a space where everyone can train, stay active, and reach their fitness goals responsibly!

    • Food and drink items other than water will not be permitted in the main exersize areas.
    • Profanity, unsportsmanlike conduct, or offensive clothing will not be allowed.
    • Only authorized clothing and athletic footwear will be allowed per DAFI 34-114.
    • Footballs, basketballs, soccer balls, etc. may not be kicked inside the Fitness Center.
    • Bicycles or roller blades are not allowed inside the Fitness Center or on the running track.
    • Equipment must be returned to its proper area after use.
    • Military may workout in uniform with top removed.
    • Boots are not permitted on basketball court or treadmills.
    • In the event of inclement weather requiring squadron PT to be conducted indoors, all other activities in the fitness center will adjust accordingly to accommodate.
    • Pets are not allowed inside the Fitness Center with the exception of service animals approved by the ADA.
    • Slamming of weight plates and bars on floors is discouraged.
    • Use of a spotter while lifting is highly encouraged.
    • All lockers are daily use lockers only.
    • Children ages 6 and over are not allowed in opposite gender locker rooms or designated dressing areas.
    • Children in PCA must remain in child play area and not on fitness equipment.
