Library

The library’s collection consists of over 30 Internet connected computers; WiFi access for personal laptops [24/7 - foyer is open]; 20,000 books [20% of these are children’s books];  4,000 DVDs (non-fiction and entertainment); 1,000 music CDs; 1,000 audiobooks on CD/ MP3/Playaways; a growing collection of Wii and Xbox games and graphic novels; and over 100 periodicals and/or newspaper subscriptions.

Holds

Materials can be placed on hold and you will be notified when it is returned. Movies and music CD’s cannot be placed on hold.

Renewals

Call to renew Materials can be renewed by telephone. Just call the Circulation desk at 987-6979 during normal operating hours. Renew on or before the due date.

InterLibrary Loan

Interlibrary loans can be requested at the Information/Circulation desk. These items are borrowed from other libraries and can usually be used for two weeks once they have been received. Interlibrary loans are limited to materials for education or mission support.

After Hours/Material Return

There is an indoor material return in the library’s entryway (on the left of the interior entrance doors) where items can be dropped off after regular duty hours. All formats can be returned without damage.

Download Audiobooks

NetLibrary provides access to your library’s eContent collection. eContent is the digital version of books, journals, and database content. You can access your library’s eContent 24 hours a days, seven days a week. Register at the library or via the Base LAN to get access to the NetLibrary. Adobe Content Reader must be installed to download ebooks.

Build Your Mind with OverDrive!

OverDrive, the new Air Force Library Audio Book Program, is now available. This program offers language study materials, nonfiction and literary titles. To get started, go to OverDrive, bookmark it and contact the Base Library for access. Expand your audio book selections by using OverDrive. New additions include MP3 Audiobooks, Video, and Music. OverDrive does not include children’s or popular titles. Adobe Content Reader must be installed to download ebooks.
