The Base Library is located in the Walters Community Support Center. The library includes an enclosed Children’s Room, a Young Adult room, two study rooms and a group study room. Computers with Internet access, DVDs & Blu-rays, music CDs, audiobooks, & games are up-front for easy, quick access and selection. Study tables, carrels and comfortable seating areas are available. Feel free to browse through the selection of library materials, study or just enjoy the ambiance.
A self-checkout kiosk is available and you can ask at the circulation desk for your Library Card # in order to utilize it. A digital sender and fax machine are part of the library services.
The library’s collection consists of 10 af.mil computers and 15 .com computers all CAC enabled; Wi-Fi access; 20,000 books [25% in the children’s collection]; 5K DVDs [non-fiction and entertainment]; 1K music CDs; 1K audiobooks on CD/MP3/Playaways; and a growing collection of PS4, Xbox One, and Wii U games; graphic novels, periodicals and newspapers.
Materials can be placed on hold and notified when the item is ready to be picked up. The preferred method of notification is by text message.
Renewals can be completed online at lrafblibrary.sirsi.net using your Library Card # or by calling the circulation desk at 987-6979 during normal operating hours.
Outdoor Material Return
There is an outdoor material return located at the end of the island on the right hand side facing B940 in the parking lot of the Walters Community Support Center. All library materials can be returned in the outdoor material return.

OverDrive the Air Force Library Digital Media Program collection includes language learning materials, downloadable ebooks, audiobooks, and videos. Play downloads on a variety of devices including smart phones, ebook readers, computers, tablets and more. Includes the 2016 CSAF Reading List titles. Ask at the Circulation Desk for the access code.

Transparent Language Online - offers learning activities for over 80 languages. Learning is self-paced. This resource is for recreation and self-development only. Per contract, you must sign up in person at an AF library.
freegal music - sign up for a weekly download limit of 5 songs to keep, freegal music gives you access to over 8 million songs from over 28,000 labels including the Sony Music catalogue, all downloads are in the MP3 format. Music can be streamed for up to 3 hours per day.
